Phileas Fogg and the Top Hat challenge
This summer two students, Tim Moss and
Thom Allen will be attempting
to do a lap of the globe using eighty
different modes of transport
in a daring six-week global voyage to
raise money
and awareness for TreeHouse.
The Around the World in Eighty Ways Founders,
Robin and Mary Dunseath
have challenged Tim and Thom to take the
Phileas Fogg Top Hat
around the world with them, and when it
is safely returned,
they will make a personal donation to
the charity Treehouse.

Around the World In Eighty Ways is an epic bid
by three adventurers with disabilities challenged
by their modern day Phileas Fogg to circumnavigate
the globe using 80 different means of transport,
led by Robin Dunseath, adventure leader. Their
aim is to encourage everyone to live their lives
to the fullest potential while also raising much
needed funds for deserving charities along the
route.

go Around the World in 80 days in the great Jules
Verne Classic

The library of the Reform Club, Pall Mall
Mike McKenzie, Miles Hilton-Barber and Caroline
Casey were challenged by Robin Dunseath the modern
day Phileas Fogg to go Around the World in 80
Ways - using 80 different modes of transport.
The challenge was seconded both by members of
the business community and members of the volutary
sector.
The challenge was accepted.
Philleas Fogg and his team of adventurers set
off from the steps of the reform club on Monday
the 2nd of September to begin their journey around
the world.
They will return to the steps of the reform club
on the 3rd of December 2002 - The UN International
Day for people with disabilities.
Each adventurer has a disability. Each adventurer
believes that they have ability and capability.
Each adventurer sees opportunities not barriers.
Each adventurer believes in living life to the
full.
