Around the World In Eighty Ways is an epic bid by three adventurers with disabilities challenged by their modern day Phileas Fogg to circumnavigate the globe using 80 different means of transport, led by Robin Dunseath, adventure leader. Their aim is to encourage everyone to live their lives to the fullest potential while also raising much needed funds for deserving charities along the route.

Phileas Fogg was challenged by 5 businessmen to go Around the World in 80 days in the great Jules Verne Classic

Monday 12th August 2002
The library of the Reform Club, Pall Mall

Mike McKenzie, Miles Hilton-Barber and Caroline Casey were challenged by Robin Dunseath the modern day Phileas Fogg to go Around the World in 80 Ways - using 80 different modes of transport.

The challenge was seconded both by members of the business community and members of the volutary sector.

The challenge was accepted.

Philleas Fogg and his team of adventurers set off from the steps of the reform club on Monday the 2nd of September to begin their journey around the world.

They will return to the steps of the reform club on the 3rd of December 2002 - The UN International Day for people with disabilities.

Each adventurer has a disability. Each adventurer believes that they have ability and capability. Each adventurer sees opportunities not barriers. Each adventurer believes in living life to the full.
