Belfast born and now living in Edinburgh, Scotland,
Robin is 62 years of age and is now retired following many years
as a successful public relations consultant including the position
of Chairman of the European Region of the Worldcom Public Relations
Group. Robin still works as a profile advisor to a number of leading
business people.
Public relations programmes devised by Robin
have won major awards both in the UK and the USA, including a
Sword of Excellence in the UK and the Gold Award for the Mercury
International Communications Programme in the USA.
He founded and developed the World Young Business
Achiever movement, a programme to encourage the entrepreneurial
spirit around the globe.
Robin devised the idea for Around the World
in 80 ways two years ago when, on meeting Miles Hilton-Barber
and Mike Mackenzie he recognised the extraordinary power that
enabled them to make light of their physical challenges and live
full lives. He decided to produce a scheme to harness this power
as an example to others.
On reading the book Around the World in 80 Days,
he discovered that a Princess accompanied Phileas Fogg, and thus
Caroline Casey was added to the team.
